What is Allergy Soother Extract Blend?

Allergy Soother is a four-botanical blend formulated for sensitive and reactive skin preparations. Every ingredient in it is a food plant — coriander, cucumber, aloe and carrot — which makes it one of the gentlest compositions in our extract range and a natural fit for formulations where the customer is cautious about what goes onto their skin. Supplied as a ready-to-use blend in both water-soluble and oil-soluble versions for cosmetic formulators, private label brands, and small-batch makers.

Key Properties

• Every ingredient is a food plant: Coriander, cucumber, aloe and carrot are all eaten as food. For a product aimed at sensitive skin — where the customer is often the most cautious reader of an ingredient list — this is a straightforward and honest point of reassurance that most blends cannot make.
• Cucumber and aloe, the two most recognised soothing botanicals: Both are so widely associated with calm, cooling skin care that they need no explanation to an end customer. That recognition is worth a great deal on a finished product's front label.
• Coriander: Coriandrum sativum, known in Tamil as kothamalli, is used across Indian cooking and traditional preparation alike, and is a less common inclusion in cosmetic blends than cucumber or aloe.
• Carrot: Daucus carota, long established in cosmetic formulation and valued for its carotenoid content. Note that it contributes natural warm colour.
• The gentlest blend in our range: No resins, no minerals, no essential oil components, no animal-derived ingredients and no restricted actives — which makes this a practical starting point for formulators developing products for the most cautious end of the market.
• Available in both water-soluble and oil-soluble versions: Choose WS for toners, gels, essences, face washes and water-phase creams; choose OS for facial oils, balms and oil-phase creams. This removes the solubility guesswork from formulation planning.

Allergy Soother Extract Blend is used as an active botanical component in gentle and sensitive skin formulations. Recommended usage rate: 2–8% of the finished formulation.

• Water Soluble (WS) — toners, essences, gel moisturisers, water-phase creams and lotions, face washes, sheet mask serums, after-sun gels
• Oil Soluble (OS) — facial oils, balms, oil-phase creams and lotions, anhydrous serums

Begin at the lower end of the range (2%) in trial batches and adjust upward based on your formulation's performance, colour tolerance and stability testing. Products intended for sensitive skin warrant more conservative inclusion rates and more thorough testing than general formulations. As with all botanical extracts, run a small trial batch and a stability check before scaling to production.

Storage Instructions

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the container tightly sealed when not in use to limit exposure to air and moisture. Avoid repeated opening and temperature cycling, which can affect extract stability over time. Use clean, dry utensils when dispensing to prevent contamination. Natural variation in colour, aroma and consistency between batches is expected and characteristic of plant-derived extracts.
